September is National Child Passenger Safety Month!
In honor of this, Three Rivers Public Health Department in partnership with S2 Refuse & Recycling is hosting a car seat recycling day allowing you to bring your used/crashed/expired car seats to be recycled for FREE!
Is your child’s car seat or booster seat: • More than 6 years old? • From a garage sale or thrift store? • Involved in a crash? • Not being used and needs recycling?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, please help us get these car seats out of circulation to ensure more children are traveling safely in our communities. The seats will be dismantled and all plastic recycled.
We will be available for car seat drop-off on Wednesday, September 20th from 8:00am-6pm. Just bring them to the West-facing doors at 2400 N Lincoln Avenue Fremont, NE.
