Mental wellness scores are calculated using questions based on stress levels and depression. Three Rivers District's overall mental wellness score is 73.

High levels of stress and/or depression increase risk factors for major illness or diseases such as high blood
pressure, heart disease, and stroke.

Of Three Rivers District's participants, 393 have an ideal level of stress, while 226 are borderline and 172 are at high risk for developing complications related to stress.

Three Rivers District employees were also assessed for depression. Of those assessed, 634 are in an ideal category for depression, while 134 are borderline and 23 are at high risk of suffering from depression.
