Background Information
Three Rivers District Health Department accepts complaints and concerns about any restaurant for food service establishment in Dodge, Saunders and Washington Counties.As a local health department, we DO NOT INSPECT restaurants in our three counties. Instead, the Nebraska Department of Agriculture is responsible for restaurant inspection.
Three Rivers partners with the Department of Agriculture by informing them of ALL complaints we receive from the public about local restaurants. Our partnership allows us to be aware of local restaurant concerns, and allows the Department of Agriculture to be updated on a regular basis of any establishments that need additional follow-up or inspections.
